Hello, I'm Jackie Castner.

 

I am passionate about helping women design enjoyable healthy lifestyles they love so they can lose weight, keep it off and enjoy the process.

With experience as both a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, I can address your goals from a more holistic total lifestyle approach.  With my training in behavior change from graduating Precision Nutrition's L2 Master Health Coaching program I have the tools to help individuals who are ready, willing and able to completely transform their lives.

I have personally experienced the life changing transformative effects that go beyond the physical.  The improved confidence, increased energy, the overall great feeling and boost of self esteem that comes from knowing you're taking care of yourself and seeing the results of your efforts. I became a coach to help other women improve their health, reach their goals and experience all the positive effects that come from living a healthy lifestyle they enjoy. As a client-centered coach, I'll help guide you, help you overcome obstacles, and teach you strategies and tools you can use while we work together and forever!

 

A little more about me...

 

 I am originally from British Columbia, I lived and worked on cruise ships for 6 years and now I live in Pompano Beach, Florida.  When  I'm not coaching, I can be found hanging out with my husband and my three Yorkshire terrier fur babies - Whisper, Ruby and Rambo. I have personally transformed my own life with healthy eating and exercise and I am excited to help you do the same!

I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer.  Some of my additional certifications include: NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Precision Nutrition L2 Certified Master Health Coach, NASM Senior Fitness Specialist, NASM Women’s Fitness Specialist and TRX Qualified.

Continuing my education is very important to me. I work hard to continue to improve myself, my training style and methods, and stay on top of what is happening in the industry to allow me to give my clients the best possible experience. I am currently working towards earning the credential National Board Certified Health And Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).

It is my mission to help women 40+ build the best version of a healthy lifestyle that works for them. I work to address the different aspects of health in my coaching, from nutrition and exercise to sleep and stress relief strategies and and I believe that while there are fundamentals that nearly everyone can benefit from, there is no such thing as a cookie cutter one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to healthy living. My 1-1 coaching is customized to the individual based on current state of health and fitness and tailored to bring you towards your goals. In 1-1 coaching we can dive deeper into the individual preferences, needs and nuances, while group programs address key fundamentals that apply to everyone with the added bonus of social support. I am passionate about helping people reach their goals and live happier healthier lives by creating a balanced lifestyle that consists of sustainable habits that will set them up for long term success.

I have experience training men and women from age 26 to 96.  Most commonly I work with people who have weight loss goals, want to look and feel their best, and want to feel stronger in their day to day activities.  Normal, everyday people who have goals but struggle to do it on their own.  People who want to have an easier time carrying in the groceries, doing household tasks, and keeping up with their kids and grand-kids.  People who want to live a life full of vitality as they age.  People just like you!
